Is it safe to add them???

Is it safe to add them???

Okay, usually I would only get maybe 5 freind requests out of the whole week on myspace. So today I go on and I have 12 friend request .. I add them .. I go to another friends pages for maybe 4 minutes .. Head back to my home page and I have more requests .. I add them too .. so I left and came back on some time later .. and i have even more friend requests .. Do I add them?

Or is this some kind of spam thing going on??? Or should I delete these people?

Well
maybe you just don't need them at all
It is always better to have a few truthfull friends than 1000 bad or even unknown friends
Ask yourself , why would you need them actualy ?.....you will just add people you don't need to look into your stuff

I agree on the checking. Usually if you go to thier profile first you will see that they are out to "sell" something (view thier webcam, they have a buisiness they want to start, they have a website you should see, etc etc). I get one or two a week, as long as you don't give in, they usually aren't to bad about it.

I got sick of spam. I could tell it was spam since the profiles had the same pictures for different names. Ive probably gotten 10 friend requests from different profiles with the same dudes pic on it. It got so annoying that I just set my friend request setting to last name/email. And I even put on my profile that I did this and put the email I use for the account. And so far I have only gotten 2 requests in 2 weeks and they were from people I knew.

Well, personally I check every profile before adding and I never add anyone I don't know or I don't know where it comes from. I mean, with a message or something that tells me where this person saw my profile or why does it want to add me. But I'm a bit paranoid so...

I also never had any spam problems so far.

I don't add nobody I don't know except band profiles. I don't need no fool snoopin' on my page. I'd say it's spam.

i would say check the profile before adding any of them....you can usually tell between real folks and fakes.....and never add someone with a private profile unless you know them
