Is it possible to find out if I was being tracked????

I got a little click happy after the GF and I had a bad break up, because we stayed myspace friends for a couple weeks, until I had to "defriend" her to keep myself from constantly checking it. I remember that she may have had a tracker icon on her profile at one point. Is it possible that I can find out if she had been tracking me? Is there any way for me to view a part of her profile that would tell me if she still has a tracker? Thanks!

Best thing to do is print out the list and scan for those words (the trackers). You can also go to this text file save it and print if from here in a notepad. If the profile is set to public (not private or 18+) then you can scan it for trackers on HITS

Um,
Did you know her well enough to determine if she was the kind of person via personality or action that would want to use a tracker to see how many hits and who was visiting her page?
Being in Private mode means she isn't looking for Talent Scouts or advertising herself as a Model or the like.
Is this a tracker code?

I have dowloaded the page source and received the page script and I found this all over: onclick="MySpace.CMS.track.
Is this a tracker? Please advice. I'm still concerned about why this person's profile was public at 2am when I was seeking it (it's my ex's new girlfiend) and now it's on private? I'm worried that she has a tracker and will be mortified if she really knows I'm looking? I'm using Firefox and a the abblock filters AND will be browsing from a proxy server so to TRIPPLE ensure this never happens but for now, can someone tellme if that code above is a tracker?

Blushing...sorry for being pushy guys. Just freaked a bit. I verified their script code with my own (i don't have a tracker) and I found the same codes so perhaps she doesn't have a tracker and her putting her profile on private after I checked it may be a mere coincidence. Can we say therapy? LOL.
Thanks for all the help. If I MUST check out these profiles, I've downloaded Firefox, the adblock plus script file and its filter and will be using a proxy browser...just to make sure.

I would rather not do that at the moment... can you look at the post below from the codesource and tell me what you think?
Like Iamthedevil mentioned, there is no way to go back and check her profile now that you dont have full access to the private profile as her friend.
That info you posted in your other post is in reference to urchintracker--that is a tracker that is on everyones profile--and it isnt accessed by myspace users for tracking visitors to their profile. (there are some threads about urchin tracker somewhere on GuG)
The only possibility is if you use some current codes(that I can't mention in the open area). But I will send you an email if you have your GuG contact info turned on. Or you can GuG IM if you prefer to instead.

that's a tracker myspace uses i believe (CMS) , not one the user has posted or has access to. i think it's so myspace can keep track of what links you click on etc. the urchin is also the mother of all trackers, but is also used by myspace, not the user. you can't post js in myspace, so if it is a js function, then it was put there by myspace. but like smartmom said, check bottlebobs list of trackers against the page source. i'll do it if you like...i find it interesting, cuz i'm crazy like that!

If its private, the only place a tracker could really go to catch non-friends is within her headline. So if you view the page source, or use Firefox and "No Style", look in the headline for a tracker image ID.
If you mean to see if she was tracking you when you were on her friends list and had access, then no I don't think there's anyway to go back and check now.

well, I just viewed another friend and HITS did not find a tracker on her page, but then when i viewed the profile with HITS i saw this in her headline:

Does that look like a tracker? Or is it just an image?
I dont really look at her profile now, because I am not her friend, but for a couple weeks I still was her friend and I was checking it WAY TOO MUCH! Anything I can do to figure out if I was being tracked?
What about Facebook... I unfriended her on that too, but randomly checked it with my bro's account and then randomly she unfriended everyone in my family? Does anyone know of any working trackers on that site? Because I was checking that too! Thanks!
