Is it possible?

Is it possible?

So, I have a therory that someone who does not like me very much has somehow come across a code or something and is logging into my account as me. For example, I logged off one as myself and logged in as someone else almost 30 minutes ago but when I check my profile, it says im online... anyone think this is a possibility? It cant be my password because I have changed that several times over the last few days. Help is APPRECIATED!!!

Ya! I create pages for my friends and then I log out. They go to log in to see it and they see that it says they are still online. So they call and ask me if I am still logged into their account. Sometimes it will show me online most of the day when I'm not on. It's strange. But I believe it happens very often. I wouldnt worry about it!

Re: Is it possible?

Just repeating what everyone else has said...it happens to me too.  It just seems like some sort of wacky delay.

Re: Is it possible?

Satan himself is right, I've come across the same thing several times. I think that little online man does what he wants!

Re: Is it possible?

Don't put a lot of faith into the little "online now" icon. It's almost never correct. There used to be a way to change the online status of a person just to mess with them, but I'm not even sure that works anymore. And the delay time seems to vary when showing someones current status.

I don't think there's any way they can sign in as you unless they have your password. Does this person have access to your computer?

Unless you see some other symptoms besides "online now", you probably don't have to worry...

Re: Is it possible?

Just like Devil said, I wouldn't stress over it.  I have 3 MySpace accounts, and 1 computer.   If I check the others, then log into mine, for about a half an hour, it looks like all 3 accounts are signed in at the same time.  I tell people to consider it more like "online relatively recently" rather than online now.

"He sounds different. It's the only reason they can hear him at all."

Re: Is it possible?

Ditto here. I do several band profiles and the icon can stay there long after a log out. In fact, I was AIMing a bandmember who was logged into one, then his other account. Both showed online now long after he went offline, and I didn't log in at all.

So absolutely don't pay attention to the icon. "Online now" really means "Maybe online now, maybe a half hour ago, recent, but might not be online right now". I guess that's too many words for an icon. Wink
