Is it just me, or does this year's contestants suck as a group?

I mean in the Previous Seasons the contestnats seemed stronger as a group and then they all had their individual "weaknesses"

This year we seem to have Strong individual Singers that are all very good in their particular style of Singing but when they do the Group Performance it reminds me of before "Sister Mary Clarence" straightned up the Choir's Harmony in Sister Act....lol

They just totally murdered a few Neil Dimond songs as a group as all their voices "clash" rather then "harmonize" for most of the song (They did finally Harmonize during the end)

Anyone think Jason was stoned Tuesday night?  Haha!  I recognize the look... I think he maybe was nervous and had to take the edge off before he "shot the tambourine man".  Tooo funny!

It's like they "have" to be there.  You can tell they aren't really into the group thing.  Cook is cool and all by his lone gritty self but he really looks like a putz out there during the group thing.  :)  It reminds me of the Brady Bunch - all they need are shirts with wide collars, vests, and polyester bell-bottoms.

I know exactly what you mean. There are no "backup singers" who know how to layer a chorus. All this year are solo singers and in the group sing-along thing (which I usually hate and am embarrassed for them), I hear everyone singing the lead line in unison. No harmony.

I agree. They look awkward and sound very "bubbly"

Don't like the group stuff at allllllllllllllllll
