iPod and Nike+

iPod and Nike+

If any of you are runners, you have surely checked out Nike+. My friend told me about it, but was so disappointed to learn that it will not sync with my 30GB iPod. It only works with the Nano? What is that all about? Are they just trying to make me buy a Nano as well-and why would I want to when all the music I have purchased is in my 30GB? Does anyone know if there is something that will get it to work with what I have? This irks me!

Thanks..I guess that turned into a bit of a rant! Smiling

Re: iPod and Nike+

Totally worth it in my opinion. Honestly you're not going run hours and hours or mess with the play list, so just create a playlist to run to, and upload it to the nano.

And yea it's a marketing ploy, but i don't think it works the shuffle since there's no screen how would you set it up?

but I recommend it. the extra GB is overkill if it were to be used on all the other ipods.   What i wish  it did work on is my iphone.

Re: iPod and Nike+

i actually do enjoy my nano shoe combo! i have found several run casts podcasts on iTunes. even some designed for a treadmill workout.

i am a runner and love the shoes. already had the nano. i'm thinking it is a  joint effort marketing ploy. however, i am a little disappointed that apple didn't at least make the shoes compatible with the shuffle. if their MO was a smaller is better approach, then the shuffle would definitely be a sure match.

Well, I am going to hold out in hopes that they will expand to the bigger iPod. For now I'll just have to keep logging everything myself.
