Dynamic ip addys change and static addys stay the same. IP addys are the physical location of the computer or more commonly, the internet service provider. It's difficult to trace ip addys to certian users, however, you can match hits with time of comments, etc...
I recommend hitslink.com, as it automatically tells the internet service provider's name. You can always do a google search on an ip addy, too. Try arin.net or google "latitude and longetude ip address." It will take to a number of sites where you can plug in the ip addy to find it's location. I will say, it is difficult to pinpoint WHO the ip addy belongs to, especially if your profiel gets hit alot. Go to the search box here at GuG and search "ip address." You will find alot of discussion about this. Keep searching here, too. You will find other and better ways to track who is checking you out.
