Hi, I took the plunge and downloaded Firefox with Adblock Plus today, but when it asked about importing things from Internet Explorer, I went ahead and chose "yes", not knowing what it really meant. Well, it gave a list of all imported items, one of which said "cookies".

My question is, will this cause me to still be tracked by myspace trackers when visiting a page that has one? I did the whole "How to Block Myspace Trackers" on this site and successfully imported the list of trackers to block, but will the cookies thing still give me away?

HELP!

I would say you should probably delete your cookies anyway... it's a good habit...

But to answer your question, no, those cookies won't get you tracked... at least not by a myspace tracker.

If you wanna clear your cookies, go to Tools and Clear Private Data... check the 'cookies' box, and select okay.... it's a good habit in Firefox to clear your private data to keep Firefox working at topspeed... But you don't need to worry about checking the saved passwords box if you prefer to save those Smiling
