I'm still logged in when I'm not?

I logged out of GUG 5 minutes ago - and when I came back to GUG as a "guest" to see if anyone posted an answer to a thread I made - it says I'm logged in up next to my name in my thread I made. "User is logged in" but I wasn't logged in. Cookies cleared too.

Why is that?

I always thought it took a while (like 15 min) for it to start showing them logged off... I think I've messaged people that were still 'logged in' but when they replied the next day they said something about being logged off before they got it... or maybe they had just closed the window, so it could be a different situation...
