last seen 3 weeks 6 days agoi updated my windows media player......NOW....there are certain sites i got to with streaming media/movies.....and NONE load, they are just a white box with a lil logo thingy in the upper right side of the box
how do i fix this?

try pasting the stream link in wmp alone?
I use Media Player Classic. Seems to work a lot better than Windows Media Player.

I had a problem too, after I updated, I would try to right click a song and search for the album info but the window that came up woud say I have to be connected to the internet to do this ( which I was )
Try Tools--->Options--->Player Tab--->click the box next to 'Connect to the Internet ( overrides other commands)--->Apply
Don't know if it will work for you, it fixed my problem though.
Thanx for posting this, cause I have Mozilla and after a windows media update mine quit working as well....So u helped someone afterall!!
oh sorry im silly i just thought u were using mozilla, did you try the media player help page?
well thats mostly for firefox...i have IE....now i am really confused
