Ilm having the damndest time...

I'm trying to fill out a form for a duplicate social security card! now, i already have adobe 8 installed. it's an interactive form and i have followed all the directions, but for the life of me, i cannot even get one letter typed into the form! someone please help me! this is so frustrating! juliek Re: Ilm having the damndest time...

hi Computer Tutor, Nice to meet you and thank you for your help! i had read all that you had in your post, but i didn't take that to mean it could not be filled out on the computer because there is another place where the directions are there for using a typewriter for a tool. i knew i would have to print it after i filled it out , but it just doesn't make sense to me that it cannot be filled out online. i guess i'm just thick like my mother used to tell me! well, thanks so much for your help...juliek Re: Ilm having the damndest time...

Hi Juliek - I think you are trying to fill out a form online that is not designed to be completed online. You need to print the form and complete it by hand, sign it, and bring it to your local Social Security Office. If this is Form SS-5FS, you won't be able to fill it out online. Please note these instructions, copied from that form: "Complete and sign the application using BLUE or BLACK INK. Do not use pencil or other and "HOW TO SUBMIT THIS APPLICATION Hope this helps. |
