hope I have this in the right place. Can someone tell me why when i tried to get onto paypal.com while in Firefox, i just kept getting redirected to mobilepaypal, which allowed me to login but only to do something like 3 things. I have to change my payment info and there was nowhere that i could access it. i disabled adblock because i thought that might be causing some problem, but no good. So i went to IE and searched pay pal.com, and there it was in all it's homepage splendor! I mean what gives? is my pc just messin' with me to make me crazy? Seems like it

Like the other members said it is is probably from the wml addon. I never use the addon and I am able to use codes without the wml addon.

Julie, did you ever uninstall the WML browser? It sounds like it's acting up and redirecting you to mobile-friendly sites again.

were you using the mobile codes lately by chance? and do you have the Firefox mobile add on? that might be why. try disabling that add on.
Tuna ><((((*> the other white meat!
I dunno I got onto paypal fine with Firefox (just tried).
nope I think you are just CrAzY.....just kidding
i experience similar things too sometimes. being able to navigate to some pages in IE but not being able to in Firefox. i thought it had something to do with Ad-Block and that i just didnt care to tweak it.
i too wonder what the reason is for this.

There are still sites that just don't render correctly in Firefox. In my case, it's my local bus company's schedule. In IE, it looks like a bus schedule. In Firefox, it kinda looks like hieroglyphics. check this add-on out, it'll let you view the page in an IE tab in your Firefox browser, instead of having to actually open IE:

thanks for the reply. i use the ie tab to view PC Pitstop. it works great. funny you mention the bus schedule thing, same here. also with online traffic reports, if i wanted to check out my driving history and for a while my online local tv guide. but ive been able to manage everything lately except the PC Pitstop site. but i dont suspect Firefox on that. problems started for that site when i installed sp3.
I am so glad to see the IE tab is now working with Firefox 3. I really like it.
