I remember... When I saw one of the first consumer desktop LED calculators. Reel-to-reel hi-fi was the shiznit. My dad gave me 25 cents and told me to walk to the service station to fill up the gallon gas can for the mower and I had enough left for a handful of Bazooka bubble gum. No one pumped their own gas unless you knew someone there and they let you. A '72 Les Paul was $300. Re: I Remember When....

LMAO!!! I'm a Jersey Girl. I'm 34 years old, I've been driving since I was 17, although not so much the last couple of years, and I have never once, in my life, pumped my own gas. I don't even know how

i remember when ice cream trucks/vans were safe (didn't cell drugs or smokes to kids)! on the weekends and during summer, the ice cream van would circle in and out of our neighborhood playing their carnival like music and we would chase it until the driver would stop. bullets, push-ups, snow cones, banana fudge cycle, any kind you could imagine... 5 cents to 25 cents.

I remember playing MegaMan, CastleVania, and Zelda on Nintendo. I remember the ORIGINAL Power Rangers. I remember getting the first Furby generation, and the original Game Boy... I also remember when Saturday Morning Cartoons were GOOD and I remember when the thing to do on Friday Nights was watch TGIF .·:·.·:·.·:·.· Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

LOL! We were cleaning out our closet at work, and there were a couple of pagers and I told my co-worker that I remembered when that was the in-thing in high school. I had one, but my sister used it more than I did so that her boyfriend could reach her. Nowadays, I don't know who even has one! |
