I need HELP on how to add a layout to my private page

on my space...PLEASE someone help... I am going crazy...I need HELP... HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! I am new on here just created my account...

Yes when people search for you.... and your page is private they can see a layout it can be the same layout from your page or a different one...

Flimflamtots... I tried it... and it makes my ypage go all crazy the code that tells me to add to my about me section... Someone has to know how to do this???? When I also go into profile editor it let's me change the color background and when I search in my private page.. it shows the color... so I go back in there to add an image and it does not show it... on my regular profile or private page....

If you want to do that then you need to use the background picture to the layout design you used.  Its a pain in the but to do but I can help you with it some

FYI:  that is not my profile just a example of one but I have done this before too

yes that is exactly what I mean how do you do that????

I tried it... but it is not letting me use a layout code... just gives me options from my album (pictures) I will appreciate it....

Sorry its been a long day and I'm playing catch up for what I missed.....

Well I looked at the one profile you have listed and there is a pic on the background is that the one you want (that background) or another one.  See here is the thing what ever you pick that will also be your picture in the background of that profile.

The one I posted above is a friend of mine and I did that for her.  You need to look on your layout code you posted for the .jpeg image in the background and add that in the profile edit.  

If you cant find the picture you can either change your profile to public or hit me up for a friend request and I'll point you to the background image you added.  My myspace is:    myspace.com/smartmomdebbie

oh it is a piece of cake! use GuG's myspace profile help to get started, click here.

once you find a layout you want, simply copy and paste into your About Me section. come back here if you get stuck and just ask  - - we have tons of members that can walk you through it.

Good Morning...

I went ahead and did that... which my private page still shows as simple... How can I make it show the same layout I have in my profile or add a layout to my private page??? I go into Profile Editor and when I add the image it does not reflect... in the private page....

I'm confused! Puzzled

Are you trying to chenge your page layout and your profile is set to private or are you trying to change the layout of your page, so what people view when looking at your private page?

Does that make any sense?! Puzzled

I am trying to add a layout to my private page.... when people search for you and your page is private there is a layout you can add.... and I am trying to figure out how they do that.

missbaxter... what I mean is when you page is private... to add a layout as a background so it will not be solid white
