Since Thanks Giving is around the corner, I thought I would share a great Recipe.
Enjoy!
Grandma's Cranberry Sauce!
Chill, then slice very thinly on a place, removing seeds:
12 ounces unpeeled oranges
12 ounces mandarin oranges
Cut the slices in half. Place with their juice in a small skillet with:
1/2 cup apple juice
Cover and simmer until the orange peel is soft, 15-20 minutes. Peel, core and cut into 1/2 inch chunks to make 1 1/2 cups:
1 pound fresh pineapple
Pick over
1 pound cranberries
Combine all the fruits in a large saucepan along with"
4 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 TSP ground cinnamon
3/4 TSP whole cloves (I usually put them in a cheese cloth and tied with a string to pull out later. It's much easier than trying to pick out every single one later on!)
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, stirring often until thick, about 35 minutes.
Remove cloves and oranges. Add mandarin oranges. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour into a shallow dish, cover loosely with wax paper, and let stand in a cool place overnight.
Enjoy!

Mmmm sounds delicious!
Ohhhh it IS!!
