I am so confused!

I am so confused!

Hello everyone....I am new here and have been reading topics and responses for almost three hours and just don't get all of this......I see some people saying they can read someone's myspace sent and received mail, but I can't find out how this person gets into the other's site.  IS there a way for someone to gain access to someone's myspace site without knowing their password?  I'm so confused.  Thanks to anyone who responds.
