I <3 Family Guy! {Family Guy Fans ONLY!}

I think it's probably inappropriate for a young kid but I found out Dex had been recording Family Guy on his DVR for a couple of years before I was even aware of the show.  And right under my nose!  Hell, I thought it was a Nick cartoon!  He would watch it at night in his bed before going to sleep.

So... he was already ruined.  Why stop him from watching it now?  So we watch it together and howl!  I look at it as educational.  There's a lot of pop-culture and history references in The Family Guy.  And actually very accurate.

The one we watched tonight was the one where Peter invents his own religion with Fonzie as the Savior.  Now where else does a 12 year old learn about Potsie and the Fonz??

My favorite quote from this episode:

"... you know when my father wants something, it's like sex with Kobe Bryant. You can kick and scream all you want, but it, uh... it's gonna happen."

OMG.. how do they get away with it?

I think my fave episode is when Lois and Meg go on a spring break trip, and Lois ends up the one partying.  My fave scene of that episode is when Lois and Meg are outside of a club.  Obviously Meg is underage and can't get in, so Lois tells Meg she's going to go inside and then come back and get her. Well like 3 or 4 hours pass, and Lois finally comes out, DRUNK!  LOL  and Meg confronts her... and Lois does the drunk laugh and goes "what?"  lol  I guess you got to hear how she laughs and see her face, but man.. that's my fave.

i love family guy.  favorite character hands down is lois.  it cracks me up how shes a cartoon house mom with such a liberal libido.  quagmire is hilarious too with all his giggity's.  hes funny to me how hes kind of an idiot that's somehow a successful womanizer and on top of that, a pilot whos responsible for hundreds of lives.  joe really cracks me up too how hes always so over amped about everything to make up for his disability.  all the characters are funny.

id say fav eps, would be when joe gets leg transplants then abandons peter guys for being loosers...  another is when cleveland is white and he gos to africa and enslaves black peter, monkey brian, etc...

family guy  takes material from so many taboo topics that are even awkward to talk about, that its almost hard not to watch.  peters like amtrak about to derail, hes always into shenanigans. 

HAHA!! I fricken love Family Guy. My favorite character is definitely Peter. His laugh gets me every time. My favorite scene takes place in 2 episodes and its where stewie starts having a conversation and his voice just keeps getting really high pitched. haha

 hehe I love the family guy.  My kids love it.  First time I saw it I was shocked and not happy that my kids watch it.  I guess well they have broke mom and I do admit I watch it and find it funny.  I even have quite a few seasons on my ipod.  Hell for a long time my avatar here was Lois (going for that cartoon mom look).  Here is some of my favorites:

Meg: "Everybody! Guess what I am?" 
Stewie: "Hmm, the end result of a drunken back seat grope-fest and a broken prophylactic?"

Lois:  "Oh, I haven't been on a college campus in years. Everything seems so different."
Stewie: "Really? Perhaps if you laid on your back with your ankles behind your ears that would ring a few bells." 

Lois:  "Good, I don't have to cook."
Peter: "Oh, no, go ahead and cook anyway, Lois, and we'll throw it out. I don't want you to get rusty."
