How to add Pictures and Hyperlinks

To add Pictures here on GuG:
Well for pictures there are a couple of different ways. To upload one of your own pictures with out going though photobucket see a thread that Hubby wrote:

How ever if there is a photobucket picture (or comment picture) you want to post here then this is how to do it...
First you want to click on the HTML at the top of the comment box (like this):
once you do that you will see a pop up box that will look like this:
This is where you add your HTML tag. Then hit "update" Now make sure you use the "HTML Code" or the "Direct Link" If you use the direct link then you need to add the tags on it like this: <img src="direct link URL here">
Now DO NOT use "Image tags" (BBCoding) as it does not work here...these tags --> [img] URL here[/img]
To Add Hyperlinks here on GuG:
Type in (or paste in) the URL you want to hyperlink or you can simply hyperlink a word. What ever it is you want to hyperlink you need to highlight it then click on the chain up top like this:
Once you click on that you will get a pop up box like this:
In the "Link URL" put the site you want to link that hyperlink to. Now in the "Target" box if it IS NOT a GuG site we ask that you drop the arrow down and choose "Open link in a new window" so that they are not taken away from GuG (the hyperlink will open a new tab).
With that said see the little broken chain link next to the hyperlink one. Well if you paste in something that is already hyperlinked you can highlight that hyperlink and click the broken chain and woo la the hyperlink is GONE.
I hope this better explains how to do this.....

How to post photobucket codes without the link to photobucket.
Example - this is the pic with the hyperlink to photobucket (if its in your photobucket account it can lead to you) - this is using the HTML code:
<a href="http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg47/kicket2u/?action=view¤t=hello.gif" target="_blank"><img src="http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg47/kicket2u/hello.gif" border="0" alt="Hello"></a>

Example - Here is how to post it without the link to photobucket. This is using the Direct link and adding the tags with quotes to it (tags in red bold):
<img src="http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg47/kicket2u/hello.gif">
This works not only here but when you post pics on sites like myspace - to avoid the hyperlinks

Since I saw that some couldn't figure out how to post them click on the HTML above like you do with a picture (in the comment tool bar).
Once you click on that then add the video code it like this:
Hit the update button. Now when you do this it will look like there is NO VIDEO added but if you hit preview it will be there (check). See:

Once you see it's there then post away. Enjoy and happy posting!
