Ok so there are trackers you don't have to paste on your page to work, how do they work and how do I block them??

The only tracker that you don't have to paste on your page would be that Myspace application...is that what you mean?

No, umm.....I used to have one but I formatted my hd and lost all my info, there is also a girl I hate who has one. You join the site enter your friend ID, and it tracks the people who visits your page. The one I had didn't work so I just deleted it. Hers work though, she tracks me every time I visit her page. I wanna know how to block this tracker.

Well this is how to block trackers - all the trackers we currently know about.

How to Block Myspace Trackers

However if your friend has a tracker we dont know about then we would need to add it to the list. I'm not sure if you sent the ID to bottlebob his is the one that maintains the tracker thread.

I already blocked all the known trackers, I guess I'll try to figure out what she is using or try to find the site that I used to be on and post it here, Thanks for all the help guys.I will update as soon as I figure it out. Smiling (who knows how long that is, knowing how I procrastinate.lol)

If your using adblock simply click n the stop sign in the upper right hand corner and it will show you all of the items on the page - that might help you. If you also want to send one of us the ID (if you don't want to post it) we can take a peak and try and figure it out.

Yeah, it can't be done without adding something to your page. Unless myspace were to implement it as a standard feature but that's not going to happen.

Do you have an example? I cant think of any trackers that you dont insert code into your page for.
