How do you add graphics/pics to your headline?

How do you add graphics/pics to your headline?

I'm kinda new to the whole Myspace thing and wanted to add to my page to make it look a little less boring, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it! How do you add graphics/pics to your headline or about me section,etc. and still add the info in those sections? When I try to do that all I see is the photobucket code! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

happy to have you amongst our GuG family. smartmom is a great help. since she's the mom, i'll be the sister! with that said, here is sisterly advise......i wanted to let you know that WHENEVER SOMEONE TYPES IN ALL CAPS, IT IS AN INDICATION OF SCREAMING OR YELLING Surprised! so i use all lower case. just fyi.

 Oh don't worry really I just though I would tell you before someone jumps in (here or if you post on any other sites) that "turn off your caps your yelling" but really don't worry about it.

EDIT:  Ok I get the dork award - I see you replied to tuna here.  I posted the same thing below at the same time.  I think tuna and I are tag teaming tonight - LOL.

again, sorry about the caps!!! do i need to add <img src= to add an image to my myspace page? i'm just getting the code to appear! what am i doing wrong? thanks!!

 if you just have the URL then yes you need to add the tags at the beginning and end:

<img src="your url goes here">

Don't forget the "quotes" at the beginning and end of it.

Make sure you're using the html photobucket code! Then it should work!

DO I PLACE IT BEFORE OR AFTER THE WRITTEN PART IN THE HEADLINE? IT STILL SEEMS TO SHOW UP AS JUST THE CODE AND NOT THE GRAPHIC. THANKS! http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x187/apachethunderer/skull.jpg

If that is the picture you want to add then paste it in your headline like this:

<img src="http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x187/apachethunderer/skull.jpg">

CAN I ADD MORE THAN ONE GRAPHIC TO THE DIFFERENT SECTIONS? HOW ABOUT VIDS, HHOW WOULD I DO THAT? THANKS,AGAIN!

 yep on your profile you can add as much as you would like in any section, pictures or videos.  Just like with photobucket you want to use the 3rd option from the top the "HTML Code - Websites & Blogs" and for video the same.  If your using a video from say YouTube then you want to use the "Embed" code

THANKS SMARTMOM! SO ALL I GOTTA DO IS COPY AND PASTE WHATEVER I WANT TO USE AND STICK IN WHEREVER I WANT? THAT'S COOL! FOR SOME REASON WHEN I TRIED TO ADD VIDS FROM MYSPACE I COULD ONLY GET ONE TO LOAD/WORK FOR ME. NOW I GOTTA TRY ADDING SOME MORE! THANKS,AGAIN,SMARTMOM!!!

 Yes you can use videos from photobucket or youtube or any other site you want that has videos and paste them anywhere on your profile you would like.  On my profile I have mine in my "about me" and in my general area I have like 5 or 6 pictures.

OK quick geek tip - typing in all caps is also the same as yelling.  Since I didn't think you were yelling at me I though I would tell you.  Don't worry lots of ppl do it but I thought I would tell you Laughing

I'd put it first... THe headline can only hold so many characters, so if you're putting it after, you may be cutting off some of the html code, and that's why it's showing as text and not the picture.

Again, make sure you're using the "HTML" code  says to use for "websites and blogs"
