Thanks for the welcome! It must not have gone through yet, but I'm excited for it!
as noted on the premium membership info page, it can take up to 24 hours for your premium membership request to be processed (although, it's usually faster).
when your credit card payment is approved and after your membership upgrade has been completed, you will get a "shipping confirmation" from google checkout. you will then be able to view/access the premium/restricted access forum areas.
