How do I get someone's IP address?

I've been looking for a good tracker.  I had a working one last year, but it doesnt work anymore...from what I've learned here (I'm new) the trackers are only good for obtaining someone's IP address or number.  So if that is the case, how do I learn my friends (on myspace) IP number? and for those who are no longer on my friends list is there a way to get theirs?

also, if you have their email, you can send them an email, then when they reply, you can go through the header of the email and get the ip address like that,

You can send trackers in emails, and try to obtain specific IP addresses that way. If you search the forums here you can find a lot of info about email trackers.

but if i dont have those email addresses, can i send them a message on myspace and get it that way?  or can i obtain it when they send me a myspace message?

 

I've done a lot of looking and most everything about the trackers simply say that they track IP addresses, but they dont tell you how to get that address...at least I havent read anything yet that will tell me. : /.

 

I might at least start asking my friends for their email addresses I guess.

You can send a tracker in a myspace email. when you go to the tracker stats page, you can then match up the persons IP address, with their friend ID from the email you sent them. Thats how you get their IP address. 

Try reading through some of the threads in the myspace tracker forum.
