Is there a way to recover a Hotmail password from my cookies or hard drive that was entered about a month and a half ago?? I used Internet Explorer, and it was never saved.

no it will not work, it is a firefox add-on, not an internet explorer, but you can try, if you imported everything from IE to Firefox when you first installed Firefox then yes it will work,
The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked

I do not know if this will work for you, but its called password exporter, when used, it dumps any and all username/password combos you have ever entered into any login page, i do not know if this will work for hotmail, but i hope it work for you,
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2848
once you have installed it, just hit, Tools -> add-ons, then find the password exporter extension, then hit options for it, then hit export, and save them to the desktop,
once saved, find the exported passwords, right click, edit, then find whaty you need, hope this helps,

Yeah, it didn't work, but thank you for the advice!
I'll try that, but Internet Explorer was used to log into Hotmail. Will it not work then? meh, I'll try it.
Damn. What about retrieval programs and all that??
Nothing that I know of. If this is your account, you should be able to do the lost/forgotten password thing on the Hotmail web page.
No... short story: Hotmail has a couple of radio boxes on the login page that allow password and username saving but it will not save a typed password in a cookie.
