Re: using hitslink an my profile shows on my tracker

is there any chance that someone might have your password?..i noticed that on some trackers that i have used, my ip will come up at some location no where near where i actually use my computer...

Re: using hitslink an my profile shows on my tracker

this can happen if you use proxies, or if you use aol and have a static ip. also i would beware of trackers that want u to enter ur myspace name and password to identify urself, doing that will just get alot of spam sent from ur account.

Re: using hitslink an my profile shows on my tracker

are you saying that it is showing hits on ur profile from yourself, and that it says the ip location is a town u don't live in? im a little confused. please explain a little more, im sure we can help u out.

Re: hitslink an my profile shows on my tracker

yea thats exactly it shows me goin onto my profile from a location i defn.. wasent @....really odd and defn, thanx for the help

Re: using hitslink an my profile shows on my tracker

do you mean there is an image where you put your tracker?  It is most likely advertising hitlink for people to click and go there.  you can get rid of it.  I don't know hitlslink code, but most you can just set image size to zero...  Just look at the code and re-set the numbers.
