is there a way/program that can hide an ip while using a torrent program.

the only way that i am aware of to shield your IP is to use a VPN service. the VPN services, however, do not guarantee your privacy. so if they were approached by the authority/law, they would divulge the IP address, however, the end user will not see it. stay away from music downloads, movie downloads, and microsoft downloads and you won't be bothered.
