I love birthdays... every time someone gets older, that means I won't catch up... if anyone stops having birthdays, I'm screwed.

So, Happy Birthday P, hope it continues to be as great as it sounds so far!

On another note, with all the ridiculous infringement lawsuits that keep popping up, I'm surprised no one has sued for using phrases like Happy Birthday, happy holidays, etc etc... but I suppose I should add "yet" to the end of that statement...

Since I don't cook, this was pretty easy... I bought you a block of tofu and stuck a candle in it... there's your cake... happy happy! Now eat or I'll cry.

I have no problem eating raw tofu. And since I didn't have to pay it will taste good cause anything free is good.

Just got back from dinner with friends then cupcakes at a local bakery. I was going to make a cake but when I came home from my bike ride I found out some jerk backed into my gate and twisted it. The neighbor and I fixed it just like new but that burned through my cake baking time. Oh well. I didn't have to make or pay for the cupcake so in a lot of ways that's better.

Thanks everyone. So far so good. Rode my mountain bike at my favorite set of trails for a couple of hours. Getting ready to pick up the kid from school then dinner with friends a little later. Not too bad.
