Getting bulletins without being added as friend?

I'm a little confused, I added some musician, and now he's not in my pending friends folder anymore but not on my friendslist either. Well, okay, some people just don't want to add you, no problem, but I got a bulletin of him showing now, how can this be?

It may be that your friends list pages were being served from cache.

Don't know, but if the problem is resolved, That's good.

okay, he's on my friends list now ... still wonder why I got his bulletin before he was a friend.

You will see past bulletins a user posted when they add you as a friend, even if it was posted before you were added. Every one they've posted in the past 10 (or 14? whichever it is...) days will now show for you.

... and I have seen it take a while for someone newly added to show up in the friends list. It is a website - not everything is always 100% instant.
