OK well a little known fact about me is that I love critters (ok so not snakes and spiders or ducks <-- long story with ducks). I have also fostered more animals then I can count. Generally when I foster its kittens, bunnys or owls. When I say foster I would take in the real little ones that for some reason or another had no mom. Some of my babies were really really young and required tube feeding.

Ok this is not for the faint of heart!

This is a story that absolutely made me sick. I only blogged this to pass the message to boycott this so called artist (more like animal abuser - killer)

Guillermo Habacuc Vargas

In 2007 Guillermo Vargas allegedly took a stray dog called Natividad from the streets of Managua, Nicaragua, and tied it to a short leash as an exhibit in an art gallery. The dog was left to die with food just beyond its leashes length as patrons passed by in the gallery. This is art???? This is disgusting! It's disgusting that he did this and discussing that patrons walked by. Now there is a rumor that the dog escaped or was kidnapped and I would hope that was true. The director of the Códice Gallery is reported as saying that the animal was fed regularly and was only tied up for 3 hours but if you viewed the photographs (see the video below) and you tell me.

I saw this on The Today Show this morning and I thought "are you kidding me". Do we really need to see Bart Simpson naked in a movie? Are we going to see a Donald duck type of naked (where there is nothing there) or are we really going to see something (like they made it out to be on the news). Can I ask why?????? If it is full frontal like they are saying than shame on them and shame on the movie rating people that this will be pg13. The Simpson's are kids cartoons but it kinda makes you rethink. Don't get me wrong I think there is a place in the world for the Southparks but to go from being a kid based cartoon to being naked in a movie in one jump is a shock. I feel for the parents who take their child (specifically daughters) to the movies with out knowing. I guess he's naked on a skate board (from a bet from his dad), hummmm wonder how long it will take before we see something on the news that some kid copied it and staked off naked. Which will probably be followed by some parent suing the movie industry for promoting it (what a joke). Now watch this will all be some media hype and it will be a Donald duck type nude. I figured since GUG was somewhat quite this weekend that I would throw this topic out there. Would you go and see a naked Bart?

So I heard this on the News today and it really pissed me off. I shop at Best Buy - but thank goodness I'm one who shops online first (for big purchases) and yes I learned a long time ago to print it off first. Lets face it they do have good prices. Now I have also learned that if you buy it online on bestbuy.com that alot of times it's cheaper than walking into the store and buying it (found that out buying a digital camera) - but this blew my socks off. What a SCAM.......
