Gaia Online - tracker

Ok so I played around with it and put a tracker on Gaia. I used Mximap - figured only a simple tracker would work. Well since MixMap is in HTML coding I had to tweak it to get it to work in BB Coding. So here is how to do that ( I made the common parts in bold to show you):

Option 3: A Customizable Image:

changed to this:

Option 4a - It says it's INVISIBLE but on Gaia it is visible!

Option 4b: Completely Hidden Code for a Private MySpace Profile - Nothing displays on your page

Changed to this:

[size2][img=http://www.mixmap.com/380422/tracker_strict.jpg border=0 height=0 width=0][/size]

Now note that even though it says "Completely Hidden" Gaia doesn't recognize that. So make sure you put the in front of the code [size=2] and end it with [/size] size 2 makes it ultra tiny. Example: [img=http://www.mi_strict.jpg border=0 hei <--- yes that is the size of my tracker (and NO I'm not tracking you here I removed my mixmap number and part of the code - I just wanted to show you the size).

Now I did put the code in my "about me" section. I went with the option 3 code and yes I did customize it (pink). I did check it and yes it works. Now if you have never used MixMap it is a simple tracker and only show you where the hit came from, the IP and the date / time.

When I signed up for MixMap and it asked for the URL I did put in the Gaia URL.

Edit: If you hit my profile while blocking trackers then haha you won't see it. If you want to see it then you need to Disable your Adblock Plus

Edit #2: Ok so I know this question will come so let me pre answer it. NO you can not copy the code above - it won't work. You have to create your own Account on MixMap and get your own code. The XXXX in the above code is where my ID went - obviously I removed it here. Yes when you log into MixMap it will say it's for Myspace and there is no mention of Gaia. Well that is because they don't give you a Gaia code - you have to create it (the fix above). Option 1 (with the map) is cool but No it doesn't work on Gaia. It's a Java Script and that won't work in BB Coding.
