Big Bang Machine Set for Big Day:  Are we living in a Sci-Fi flick? Is it possible that "earth" is some other life form's own personal Sims Game? I read this article a few moments ago and a few recent movies came to mind: Contact, StarGate, Mummy I, BattleStar Galactica, just to name a few. I will admit, while I am undeniably facinated with our advacments in technology, the digital age, and cloning....I am a bit freaked out by the fact that some of it is becoming a reality and not just a far fetched idea in a Sci-Fi flick.

What are your thoughts on where the World is headed with all of our recent/current R&D products coming to life?

Re: From Sci-Fi Flick to Real Life

im sure its very possible.  you ever read about the crop circles, the legit ones, being math equations?  be it in binary or symbols but when we (people) solve the equation thats left and post a crop circle answer back, then  new and technological advancing info is offered in yet additional messages.

my fav is the calling card that was left that offered lots of info in binary. like genetic make up and even a place of origin (in orions belt in the pliedes) of the aliens.  i think knowledge is such a great thing to participate in what ever the subject and i think one should only take what they need from it.  anyone who teaches in absolutes will loose my attention pretty quick.

Re: From Sci-Fi Flick to Real Life

One of my favorite sayings is "We live in the future." usually while telling someone about some nerdy new tech I just read about. Did you know they teleported water molecules?  Like I said, we live in the future. That being said, why the hell can't I get a better camera on my cell phone?

I don't want to die without any scars.
