Friends added without approval

I recently started using myspace and a week ago I opened my page to find that I had two friends added to my list. I clicked on the icon and it took me to a myspace profile page that had no picture or information, but shown me as their only friend. This same "friend" was on my friends list twice. I went in and clicked "block this user" and then use the edit friends list to delete them. However, my friends list shows a count of two more friends than I actually have accepted. Can someone explain to me what is going on? Does this mean someone has "hacked" into my account? The account has been set to private for over two years and still is set to private. I installed the myspace maps on my page and it also shows visits to my site from an area on the US that I do not have any friends living. Any ideas why that is happening?
