Friend subscriptions

My profile has thousands of friends, and I just want to subscribe to about 10 of them to keep tabs on my closest friends.  However, the subscriptions page doesn't seem to have a search capability and I don't want to sift through 300 pages of friends :P  Does anyone know the code to subscribe to a friend on your list?  Looking at the source hasn't helped me but perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I can show me a more realistic way of doing this?

Nope.  I think that only works if you have less than 2000 friends...that's how the regular friends list search thing works.  So I don't see a search function there.  :/

The subscriptions page has a search function in the upper right side of the page. Make sure you are using this page:
