Im diggin up the dead, but I need a myspace friends adder that will add 1000's of new friends \to about 10 new profiles for me. If anyone has a program/script/website/good karma lemme know.
Short of a program, im looking to hire someone to manage these dozen or so myspace pages for me (uhm, mods please delete if this is a no-no)

I've written something myself that lets you view anyone's friends. Well at the moment it lets you view the first 200 friends anyway. I'm not really sure why I've written it yet, it was just to show a friend what could be done. But I feel it'll be useful for anyone and so am here telling you about it. It doesn't ask for any emails or passwords, just the friend ID so don't worry it is perfectly safe. http://www.glam-ou-rama.co.uk/myfriends.asp?friendID=XXXXXX Just replace XXXXXX with the friendID you want to see the friends for. This will display their friends and quick links to add them, comment on them, view their photos, etc. Enjoy, any questions post on my MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/myfriends200 Re: Friend Adder

Just another thought, to avoid the password issue: I changed my password after using the adder for the first time, then changed it back to the original when I wanted to test it out again. It only took it a few minutes to send out 40 friend requests, afterwards I changed it back to the second password. So, at the very least, the program will only ever get one password out of me, and it is only valid a couple minutes at a time... It's pretty interesting to see who will just add a complete stranger without question. I've only had one person ask "Why the friend request?" so far.

Here you go: Put this at the end of your MEET section. and since everyone's profile is different, you will have to adjust the TOP and LEFT numbers in the code to get it positioned just where you want it. "I'm just like you only shorter." <link edited - too paranoid with a site that mimics Myspace browser buttons. Looked safe, though> Re: ARE THERE ANY CODES THAT WILL ADD MYSPACE FRIEND'S ?

I've seen some fancy profiles where they put words ie "a hell of a lot", etc instead of any number. I don't think it's a code as much as some kinda layout overlay, and that is something I don't know anything about. But in theory, it must be possible to put in any number you choose. there is a topic right here in the myspace forum called "friend adder". its about 3 pages deep cause it hasnt been commented on in almost a week. id link it here for you, but i dont remember how... but anyway, i used it on a test profile, and so far nothing bad has happened. you have to dl a small program, put your info in, and then you can search and add friends by zip code. if that is something you are ok with, then go ahead and try it, but remember its at your own risk (if it even still works). read all the posts in the topic before making your decision. result: i had quite a few complete strangers add my test profile, to my surprise. i only tried 40 at a time (with maybe less than 1/4 accepting, but still more than i thought would), but i think you can go much higher. Never heard of anything like that. If you're that interested in adding friends, I suggest you go to a popular band's myspace (like Coldplay or U2) and they usually have hundreds of thousands of friends. Click on view friends and start requesting. It'll take you hours but it's the only way I know. Re: Friend Adder

I just started using it the other day and I think it works Great!! It gets the job done and if you feel that there is an issue with the security of your myspace all you have to do is change your password!!! So I would recommend it if you are looking for a free friend adder! Re: Friend Adder

Fair enough. And I couldn't see a reason to think it was a "spam site"... Just throwing in a caveat here for those that may get used to the idea that its "okay" to give your login information to websites. Unscrupulous websites and phishing pages are the main reasons why your friends are complaining about those weird bulletins you keep posting...and why after they clicked your comment, they keep getting pop-ups. I'm still pretty leery about giving your username and password to anything, but the disclaimer and research seems to bear out that this site isn't doing anything with it. Of course, you're completely taking their word for it. Personally, I would be uncomfortable with it. Try not not associate your email and password with your actual email account login. Use a different password. Always keep in mind if someone has your login information, they can choose to lock you out of your account. And when spam shows up in your comments or you have enough friends (I'm still unsure why you would do this - research says it's for Myspace business profiles - which is another way of saying people want spam accounts), change the password. You cannot perceive beauty but with a serene mind. -Henry David Thoreau |
