Suggestion for the Forum
i dont really know where to put this suggestion since there is no thread where we can suggest some suggestions but i hope this topic wont get deleted immediately! i juz wanna know if it is possible that the chronology of the replys could be on the other side! dont know how to describe it! i mean, when u post a reply on a topic, the reply goes to the top of the page aiht? under the question! and the oldest is on the bottom! but i think it is better to read a topic and all the answer when the oldest is on the top and the latest is on the bottom! im used to it respectively! so i dont have to scroll up to follow this thread but juz to scroll down which is more comfortable to read! also the fact, that, when u respond to a certain reply of another poster, than ur answer is direct under the comment, right? i think it is also not a good idea because so it gets a little bit confused!me, respectively.in my opinion the answer should be bump to the bottom! anyways, what u think?

i think it would be helpful if when a topic or post is updated that the updated text be in a different color.

awrite! i guess my suggestion was accepted! im using flat list expanded and oldest post first as settings! my other suggestion was is also to bump the reply to a certain post to the end and not right after this particular post! maybe when u bump this post to the end , the reply starts with the quote (in another colour) and then the real reply...   thats how im used to

I just added a comment in the tracker thread and it ended up plonk in the middle of november comments ? Is that usual ? sorry, new here,...nearly reposted it as i didn't see it until spotted the "recent comments'and it was listed there, that's how i found it D

Hi Dixie!

That will happen if you reply to an older post.

You should now see the comment-viewing controls just below the main post. Those controls will allow you to choose how you view all the comments.

Are the comment-controls working for everyone?

So
I like it better this way too but i would even suggest making it completely chronological. So also for the replies to posts. I just replied to a post in the middle of the first page of a thread and my reply ended up in the middle of the second page. ???? That's pretty confusing. I'm used to forums where it's just one post after another in chronological order and when you're referring to a previous post you can quote it in your reply or write something like "in reponse to blabla".

That sounds easier to me too

I think I get lost sometimes trying to find the replies. Especially when people don't always use the "reply" function. It gets jumbled and hard to figure out what's what. I can deal with it, but maybe there is an easier way?

I thought something seemed different... When I first came to this site, the format irritated me, but I guess I just got used to it... although, I prefer this more, because rather than trying to find out what someone is talking about when they refer to a previous post, I will already know by the time I get to it...

I haven't come to a multiple page topic yet that I've tried... but I think I'd be just fine clicking the last page number to see what's most recent... all in all, it makes sense this way... especially for new members.

Three thumbs up (I found a thumb in the mall parking lot yesterday)

yeah, i know what u are talking about , about the 20 pages thing. but for me it was much easier to follow this thread right here when i read for up till down. can we this system for a while and when it does not work for u guys, than u can change it again!

New comments layout
Ok Dalon; I had hubby put your suggestion into effect - so let's see how it works out. The only problem I can see that that some pages/posts have like 20 pages of comments, and someone making a new post that goes on page 20 may not be able to find their post and could get confused. So everybody, what do you think of Dalon's suggestion? How do the posts/comments look now?

I prefer it this way, if someone wants to view the latest posts they can click on the left and still see the whole thread and how it started, or who started it
