keylogger help

Another GuG member was testing that program. I don't recall him ever providing any conclusion. But you can do a GuG search with the program name and it will lead you to that thread.

If I understand how these programs work, regarding remote install.....the person would receive an email with some form of attachment. They would have to open/download that attachment in order for the logger to begin monitoring. Not sure what format the attachment is in, but most anti-virus will give a warning about downloading an .exe file. So let's hope it's not that! LOL Also, another issue is, where did the email come from? If it's not from someone they know, it may end up in their spam box.

The only way to really know, (I think) is if you start getting emails of their activity. Then you know you set it up correctly and they installed it. If that doesn't happen soon, then you should just start over and try again. "IF " you are the one who has to send them the email, and you're using an unknown (to them) email address, perhaps you could try using one of the email spoofers out there. I know someone on here that knows how to use one of those, so hopefully she'll pop into this thread and give you more information.

You have to send them a file which they must run. Over email, or any other means.

I wouldn't purchase spyrecon unless they have a free trial, as it'll probably be picked up by a lot of antivirus programs. As it is spyware.

You can go to your "My account" tab and then click "track". It will show you your last post and whether there is a "new" comment.

Yup. There is tremendously good chance that her profile is set to private to keep men from hitting on her. I'm no counselor, but you should consider just asking her about it. It's better than going through the day(s) with a knife stuck in your heart.
