I attempted to upload my resume onto a employment site. It is in Rich Text Format on Word.
When I done so, the site informed me that I was not in (.doc) form. How do I turn my resume into the proper form?

Save it as a .doc file....

Open your resume with MS Word again. At the top left, click File>Save As to bring up the "Save As" window. Now choose a professional, descriptive name to type in the "File name" block (I suggest Lastname, Firstname - Resume Dec2006).

After you type in the file name, next to the "Save as type" box hit the drop-down arrow, find and choose Word Document(*.doc). Click Save. You just saved it as a .doc file. Make sure and delete the .rtf file you created before.

Good luck with your job search!

Re:MS Word

Thanks for your reply.I tried to get on yesterday but the server was down.
I had tried again yesterday after I had posted to figure what I was doing wrong. When I had hit the drop down arrow,it dropped...then I scrolled down...not up!!! Over and over I done this...DUUHHH..."Word Document" was the first choice. So once I scrolled UP one,I found it.So it all worked out and the resume is off! Thanks again.

..Some gave all...
