i recently had to change my myspace password because somebody was in it and now i have forgot what i changed the password to. i cant have myspace send me the password because i no longer have access to the e-mail address i created the account with. so if anybody can help me, it would be greatly appreciated

I think your last acess is your email that you used to sign up. If you don't have the email I think it's way to impossible to retrieve it. So let this be a lesson for you. Alway take down note of changed password.

On a similar topic, a friend of mine has recently been having problems logging in to my space. He signed in to MS with one email address ("A"), then changed it to another email address ("B"). All of that happened a while ago, and he has not checked his profile in a while. But now, he can't log in with the email address "B," though he can be found with email address "A" in the "find people" search form.
Weird thing is that even thought email address A works to find him in MS, and even though he gets notifications to it, he cannot log in with it either. And pswd retrieval does not work with either emails A or B. Even more weird, he tried pswd retrieval with a similar address as B, and it seemed to work, even though that email address does not exist as far as either of us know.
Anyone hear of similar problems with other MS users?? This is just plain strange...Maybe he got hacked??
Anyway, MS is making him do the salute before they help him get into his account.

Almost Evil is correct, and in case you have no idea what a "myspace salute" is, here you go:
A salute is a digital image of you holding a sign with your Friend ID number or URL written on the sign.
MySpace takes the safety and privacy of all MySpace users very seriously and, in some situations, we ask for a salute to verify the identity of a user.
To make a salute:
1. Make a sign and write MySpace.com and the Friend ID number or URL on it. If you don’t have a MySpace Profile, write the email address that you are using to email us on the sign.
A Friend ID is the number between ID= and &mytoken in the Profile's web address/URL. You do not have to log in to find your Friend ID or URL.
2. Take a photo of yourself or the user holding the sign. Make sure the photo is clear and the sign is easy to read.
3. Click on Contact MySpace. You’ll see an option to browse for your photo and attach the salute to the form. If you have an account with a photo hosting site such as PhotoBucket, you can upload your salute to the site and send us the URL to it.
4. Tell us what you’d like us to do. After we process your request, we’ll delete the salute.

You can recover a lost password by contacting myspace, and sending in a SALUTE photo to prove you are the owner of the profile. They are generally helpful in this area. Good luck!
