Firefox 3.0.15

Almost everytime that I go to open firefox - it gives me the option to "restore previous session" etc.  Problem is - those options are supposed to be given only when you close down firefox abruptly - which is closing down firefox by clicking top right red x when you have multiple tabs open. But even when I close down each tab seperately and properly - I still get the option to restore previous session. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? TIA!

i dont know why it would keep coming up, but you can disable it by typing about:config in the URL bar then finding the 'browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash' and change it to 'false'

You might also try upgrading to the most current Firefox version.

hmm...do you have your options set so that Firefox shows all tabs viewed during your last session?  it's in the Options menu under startup in the main tab...

I checked what you suggested and it's set to "show my home page"
