Firefox question

hiya. when i try to view my friend's page (myspace) using firefox, his slideshow doesn't come up. theres a note at the top that says i'm missing plug ins but when i click on it to find out which one i'm missing it says none were found. anyone know what i need to download so i can see his slideshow? i can see it when i use IE (ick) and the only thing that's changed on his page is he recently added a video from youtube. hmmm, but he has other youtube videos on there and it worked fine before...any help is greatly appreciated Smiling

Re: Firefox question

It sounds to me that you may need to update to the newest version of Firefox - 2.0.0.4.

That's the first step.

Re: Firefox question

i did that but all i still only see the text and not the slideshow. could it have something to do with the adblock plus thingy (i know, thingy, such a technical term...sorry)

Re: Firefox question - Adblock + "thingy"

Yup,

That was going to be my next suggestion. Temporarily disable, restart firefox, and see if it comes back.

Also use another browser, like IE, to see if it's there and tell me what happens...

Re: Firefox question - Adblock + "thingy"

ok, so i tried disabling adblock & restarting but still no go with firefox. i can still see the slideshow in IE. hmmmm...thank you for helping me, i'm technically challenged!!

Re: Firefox question - Adblock + "thingy"

It's not going to be fun but I would disable your extensions, perhaps one by one, until you find the culprit. Start with anything that blocks ads or javascript.

There is a possibility that your firefox theme is messing with it too, restore to default theme.
