Has anyone downloaded the newly released Firefox 3.0? Before I download it, I'm wondering if AdBlock Plus and NoScript work with it.
As a sidenote, Firefox is trying to set a world record for most downloads in a 24 hour period today. But I'm not upgrading until I know if those extensions work.
Thanks.

Is anyone using Ubiquity yet? It's awesome, IMO!
I think I'm going to wait awhile on updating for the 3.0 release. I want to keep my themes
Check back often with the themes. They are updating them. I went the first day and got a crappy theme. Went back two days later and there was much more to choose from. I still don't have my old theme but I'm happy with the new one. Heck , my old theme may very well be updated. I haven't checked.

If you don't like the new awesome bar you can check out the old bar add on. I switched my home and work computer to Old Bar. I just didn't like the drop down with the suggestions. If I go to the address bar it's to go to a website I don't have bookmarked so suggesting bookmarked websites didn't do much for me.

Foxit Pdf Reader is compatible with Firefox 3 as well.

another update (i hope i'm not talking to myself here but this may end up saving someone all the trouble i went through).
i've found that the Torbutton add-on causes quite a problem in Firefox 3.0. it took me 4 days of trial and error installs/uninstalls, disabling add-ons, changing every possible Firefox option, etc, to find out that this extension was the cause of multiple problems i was having after the upgrade. the Torbutton add-on itself, which i had used with no problem before the upgrade, still worked just fine after the upgrade. but among other things, it was the thing that was breaking Cooliris, causing it to not show images or graphics, disabling frames, and forcing all webpages to be text only. one of the other major problems it was causing was preventing firefox from saving login info and cookies. this made it so that i had to constantly re-login to every site all the time. so i've disabled it for now until (if) they come out with an update that fixes these issues.
Downloaded it a little while ago. Working just fine, Adblock just fine, kept all my settings except for my theme (which is incompatible with 3).
So far, so good.
ok, good news is NoScript works, in addition to AdBlock as everyone said. also of interest to some people on here: CoolIris, greasemonkey, and wmlbrowser work.
EDIT: CoolIris will not show images anymore
for other people who want to know, below are my extensions that got disabled - but i'm sure most will have updates soon. the IE ones i will miss the most in the meantime. it's funny - they said there were updates for those two and i updated and restarted and they got disabled. now it says no updates exist. i'll check later when i have more time to see if i can manually install them.

an update for anyone who has the same problem i had with supposedly compatible extensions showing up as not compatible and getting disabled. i tried to manually install the IE tab and view extensions and they would not install. other people were reporting the same thing as me but some people were able to install without a problem. what got mine working was to do a full re-install of Firefox 3.0. both those extensions are working now. so if you find some of your extensions are disabled with the upgrade, despite the developer of the extension saying it is supported in FF3, then try the full re-install. (the other extensions i mentioned aren't supported yet.)
other than that little problem, so far i'm liking the new version. the main thing i've noticed is that it's been much faster. i haven't had a chance to explore most the changes in this release yet but the speed is very noticeable, for me at least. i'm hoping the memory consumption is better but i haven't run it long enough to know yet since i had to re-install.
ok, thanks guys. i'm going to go for it. i've been waiting for this release to come out so i'm impatient.
on my iMAC, i've been using FF3B5 for months. no complaints! and i do use the adblockplus program.
