I have found that the greasemonkey add-on does not work with Firefox 3! Does anyone know any other add-on/extension that substitutes this for Firefox 3. All my little gadgets that I added to MySpace such as little graphics under people's names in which I could leave comments/message/etc. without actually going to their pages is now gone! Anyone know what I'm talking about?

is there a release date for non beta FF3?
I have not yet find a final release date for the non beta version but I am searching.
Greasemonkey is a very popular extension so they'll probably try to make it work.
is Firefox 3 faster? i am getting sick and tired of Firefox slowing down my computer :/
i would just change to it to see for myself, but i got so many windows open that i wanted to keep open for a few days (certain session logins) and i dont want to logout to test Firefox 3. So, is it faster than Firefox 2? thx in advance.

I read that it will be faster with multiple tabs open. Something about long sessions and tabs make Firefox slow down but Firefox 3 won't suffer from that.
I think I also read that add ons aren't compatible with Firefox 3 yet. Once it's fully released I'm sure they will work again. That is, you're using Beta right?
"I'm just like you only shorter."
I am using the Beta 2 version. Here are the specifics:
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9b2) Gecko/2007121014 Firefox/3.0b2
It is definitely moving faster and so far I see it as a vast improvement. My only complaint for now is the inability to use add-ons. Silly me deleted my older Firefox version because I have this thing about too many applications and I like to clean out things. I should have kept it specifically for my add-ons until the new version has hacked everything out. Oh, well, I can always re-install...
There are actually two versions of Firefox 3 - beta 1 and beta 2. Beta 2 plugs over 300 issues in Firefox - specifically concerning browser memory leakage (multiple tabs open over a long time) and Beta 1 plugs about 30.
As they are "beta" you'll find that most of your extensions won't work if you attempt to bench test the browser (I found that to be the case).
There is a portable version to download that won't change your Firefox 2 settings if you want to give it a spin.
Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 1 allows you to test all the latest features in the upcoming version without disrupting your current Firefox installation. Please note that Firefox 3 Beta 1 is a developer preview release of Mozilla's next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for testing purposes only.

I think its faster and at first I thought it was my imagination but its loading faster for me. My only issue right now is that its automatically scrolling when I click with my mouse on the side bar...if that makes any sense. I'm going to give it a couple of more days before I can get a full idea of it. I have been playing on it for the past few hours but its time for me to turn it in.
in that case i will take a look at it, thank you!
Well I would say check out what stylish has to offer, but if gm isn't working I doubt stylish will either. Thanks so much for posting this, I was thinking about giving 3 a try, but if my addons won't work FORGET IT!!! LOL If it were me, I would rollback until 3 supports gm, I can't live w/o it!
