last seen 1 year 25 weeks agoI was wondering if anyone knew how to retrieve a password on facebook using the security question. I created a profile last year but transfered schools. The school deletes your email address after you have left the school for six months. So when I forgot my password all it tells me is that it will send a change of password to my email address which no longer exists. I would know how to answer my own security question but cant seem to get to that point. Anyone help please!

Hmm I suppose I could do that, Ive heard that it takes a long time for them to respond and verify things. I was just hoping there was an easier way since I gave them a security question. I thought maybe there was a way to get to that to find what your password was.
My guess is you would have to contact Facebook directly and explain your situation. I'm sure it has happened before (not just college/school accounts, but with job accounts as well).
Perhaps they will ask you to verify bits of information to make sure that you are a match and then manually work with you to make the change to your new school.
