facebook tracker / hit counter

facebook hit counter......doesnt tell u who was looking at ur profile......but it tells you how many people a day looked at it

This is supposed to be "technically impossible" on Facebook, but I recently created an application which actually displays a hit counter on your Profile page and increments the counter dynamically everytime a visitor views the page. As long as the visitor also has the application installed, it is able to recognize who they are and record the details of their visit on your canvas page as an audit trail. Its only a matter of time before this application gets shut down by Facebook, but for now you can install Top Visitors here:

I've never tried this application but I wonder how it would help most people. If it is a new app and facebook will get rid of it soon not enough people would use it to give them any real information most of the time if not all of the time right?

Also I think they wanted a counter which wasn't for everyone to see and showed the actual views rather than showing an inflated number.

 

Sure its a cool app tho, wish I knew enough about computers to make one!

I tried to add an app like that but there was an error and it couldn't be installed. Last I heard it had been removed but I'm sure someone will get another one up soon.
