facebook not allowing me to add new friends

facebook not allowing me to add new friends

When I try to add a friend it just comes up with a 'Loading...' message in a grey box and then nothing happens. has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem. HAve you gotten anywhere with it?
