How To Enable eMail On Your Account

Other members can send you messages via your GuG-account if you enable the "contact form" in your account settings. By default other members cannot contact you via the site.

How To Enable Your Contact Form:

Click on the "My Account" link (visible on most pages):

On your account page, click on the Edit tab:

Scroll down (almost to the bottom) and find the "Contact settings" area:

Contact Form

In the contact settings area, put a checkmark in the Personal contact form box

 

Be sure the hit the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page to save your settings.

 

You can now receive email messages from other members. Note that to prevent spam, members may send only 3 email messages per hour to any member.

and if someone email's us and clicks "copy me", do they see the email address that way as well?

 

and can i change my email address? LOL

There is no longer an 'copy me' option.

if you email another user, does it show as coming from your personal email address? with full headers and all? or just as coming from the GuG domain?

it will show as "from" the email address listed on your GuG account, but the headers and source all go back to the GuG servers, and nothing is traceable back to you.. OTHER than whatever email address you have in your GuG account.
