I know this is for MySpace trackers, but could someone tell/show me how to embed a tracker into an email message (from Hotmail account to Gmail account) to log IP address of the reader?
Also, please feel free to move this post if not ok to remain here.
Thanks!

msn email provider is also good to view the header,
not msn live hotmail! it does not work at all, ive tried
The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked

Try ReadNotify It'll let you know when they open it along with the ip address of where they opened it. They have a free trial.
Be yourself...... Everyone else is taken!
Hmmmm....everytime I read the header I just get the Google IP address??
Yeah some email services such as gmail (if you use it via web mail) will give you googles IP addy. I use gmail for that reason. But is was worth a shot.
Here is a article that may give you more information - is shows you a number of different options you can use with emails:
Top 7 Certified Email, Email Tracking and Email Opening Notification
If you use any of these let us know how they work (report back)
If you already have a email from them you may already have the IP in the internet headers. Depending on how you read your email (web mail or pop forwarded) is depending on how you find your headers. Some also call it advanced headers.
Here is a example of a internet header and what to look for (I did the IP in bold) - no worries this is a email from Waldenbooks:

If you don't use outlook then find out (google) how to find the internet headers on your email.
This is just simply another option instead of using a tracker in a email (which I'm not sure how since I've never done one before).
