Editing friends on myspace, and there are a ton of "deleted profiles"

So I just went to edit my friends. When I clicked on edit friends it showed me my friends but there were a ton of those deleted profiles, ya know the ones with the red x's. I read somewhere on here that you should delete them. So I checked all of them and hit delete selected items, well when I did this instead of just deleting all the red x'ed profiles it just brought me to the front page of myspace. It didnt ask me to sign in or anything but I thought it was weird that it would do that. I understand that there are a ton of ways you can get phished on myspace, Im just not sure if this is one of them since it didnt ask me for my email or password anywhere. Well let me know if anyone else notices this happening to them. Or if you know why it did that!!!
