Does someone know you have added them to your favorites?

I recently added someone to my favorites,I checked them today and it said the profile was deleted but I found the person and thier profile wasn't deleted.Is it possible that they know I added them to my favs?If so how I did not make it public,It's set to private.So why did it say the profile was deletated but it wasn't?

Probably a glitch. That wouldn't be the first glitch with the favorites that I've seen. The last updated timestamp is often off I've noticed as well.

As long as you keep it marked private, they don't know.
