My ipod video had a hardware problem (not recognizing a usb cord) and I had to ship it directly to Apple for repair. I live in a small town and the nearest Apple store is 4 hours away. This alone sucked because not only am I without my ipod, Apple made me pay for shipping ($32 plus tax).
I called to check on the status and the message said that a hardware problem was diagnosed and Apple will be sending a different ipod to me shortly. Whis does DIFEERENT mean? A brand NEW ipod? Or someone else's refurbished one?
UGH, I'll have to recreate all of my playlists, podcasts, etc. Good thing I backed up all my music.
