OnlineYes! Design Star Season 3 is one week away. TiVo? Check! Bring it baby! Any watchers? Husband-of-mine and I are huge fans. Season 1 had a clear winner with David Bromstad. I love watching his Color Splash show. And my can he paint! Huge talent there. And Season 2 winner Kim Myles with her new show Myles of Style. Creative out side the box thinker and designer. Very innovative with her "no money no problem" design work.
The Judges: Vern Yip his show "Deserving Design" is very inspiring. Cynthia Rowley: Lover her. Her presence alone just demands nothing but class!! There is one other judge, Martha McCully. She doesn't do anything extraordinary that I have seen.

*no spoilers!* i'm dying here. east coast time the show already aired. in 2 hours, it will be on here. season finale. i'm trying very hard not to peek online and see the outcome. husband of mine is watching me like a hawk so i don't ruin it for us!

Oh I saw it and I think hands down one was much better (wont say who). Down to two designers now........
ugh! it was trish. she was such a strong contender and very telegenic. and man oh man what a tough design challenge. especially since her dad has a medical issue. at the end, when the judges were done and clive was giving them his last minute "your show has been canceled" speech, when he said to trish, "your room make over....." - - to jennifer and matt, he used the words "design" and "creative" it was then i knew she was out! but i agree, excellent episode.

omg...i cannot believe i am the only watcher! last week michael got booted off. he actually cried for his mom on public television. it was pure soap opera material people! tonight, 9pm MST. watch!

Oh I watch - watching it now but I wont spoil it. I missed last week - actually I forgot (yikes). I do like the show alot and yes its like a soap at times.
tivo baby! we rarely watch it when its actually on as we watch movies on sunday evenings. monday night is when we play it. oh, and thank you for teasing me!! *i'll pull it up on the website tomorrow when husband is at work then pretend to be in shock-and-awe when we sit and watch it tomorrow night

okay, so like ....i totally caved last night and had husband-of-mine bring up the tivo'd episode last night. it was good, rooms were pretty fab, although, my motif is extreme modern so nothing like what they did (shabby chic), but i still enjoyed it nonetheless. next weeks kitchen design remodel will be fantastic judging by the preview! oh, and it was the brunette, trish, that got hurt. i recognized her voice in the preivew clip saying, "ouch, please don't do that it hurts" before the fire truck arrived.

Yeah next week will be good for sure. Can't wait to see who gets canned. Plus kitchens are fun - I'm such a home improvement junkie. Oh I do like some shabby chic. Some bits and pieces in my house are that way. I did a chest shabby chic a couple of years ago - love it!!
finally watched last sunday's double elimination episode compliments of tivo! finally they got rid of the "blamer" chick. ugggh. she so needed to go like 2 episodes ago. okay - now i'm caught up and ready for tomorrow's episode. bring it!
