i don't have a credit card, only a debit card. paypal was the only way to pay for the monthly premium. is there anyway i could send the $24.99 via paypal to anyone due to not being able to pay through Google Checkout?
Cant use Google Checkout
Just wondering if you ever resolved the problem? I applied for a prepaid mastercard but the start-up fee was a bit much.
your financial institution should have them, as do grocery stores, minute marts, etc. in the US. there are a variety of sites online that will allow you to do such. here is an example: https://www.netspend.com/
and http://giftcard.deluxe.com/

is there any other way to pay for the lifetime membership? i was paying via paypal monthly because i only have a debit card and Google Checkout does not accept Maestro cards.
trolleywood, on your end (across the pond?), does the google checkout allow you to select form of payment? if so, can you choose mastercard? try that approach since maestro in mastercards' international credit card, perhaps it will recognize it then and accept it?
another method would be to purchase a disposable credit card, also known as a prepaid visa or a prepaid mastercard, or prepaid american express card. that way, you purchase the prepaid card for the amount of the membership, then simply dispose of the card once you are signed on.

ah, i see. thank you for the closure on that note. but i do want to ask, since mastercard owns maestro, have you tried selecting "Mastercard" at checkout and then entering in the maestro number?
